Together we will come up with a plan so that you can reach your feeding goals. Sessions may include the following: - assessing your baby’s latch and suck - weighted feeds with sensitive scale (measuring milk intake from breast) - managing milk supply - pumping - bottle feeding - addressing painful feeding, sore nipples, & clogged ducts - supplementing - introducing solids - going back to work & weaning In addition to the clinical work we do together, I also like to offer parents tools & tips for managing the postpartum period. As a doula & yoga instructor our session will include additional support. Together we will come up with a strategy to maximize your self care during this exciting, but sometimes overwhelming, time. Together we will come up with a plan, troubleshoot any issues you are experiencing and set realistic goals for a successful outcome. Virtual consultations include two 45 minute zoom calls. In the first session, we will review all medical background and feeding history so that I have a clear understanding of where you are coming from and where you want to go. Together we will come up with a plan for you to implement for the next 7-10 days. During the second session, usually scheduled a week to ten days later, we will review how the plan is going, focus on troubleshooting any issues and adjust anything that needs to be tweaked for better outcomes.
